The concept for “STAND UP! Change Teen Statistics” is modeled on a predecessor organization/show headed by our current Executive Director. That organization grew to over 95 shows annually and received critical acclaim by the U.S. Department of Education and Justice, the Illinois Department of Justice, The Illinois Arts Council and Stanford University. Over time, demand outgrew our resources and it drew to a close with the hope of creating a more solid infrastructure.
